For your Quaranstreaming Needs: Netflix Edition

If you are one of the lucky ones who gets to work from home right now, I’m not gonna lie, I’m pretty jealous. My husband and I both work in jobs that require us to be there in person. I did get a small taste of working from home a few months ago though, and one thing that I loved about it was getting to catch up on some shows.

There are a few though that I haven’t had time for yet or have just recently been released. Here are the shows that are on my radar that I will hopefully get to watch soon!

First up is The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Based on the comic book series with the same name, the show follows Sabrina Spellman, half-witch and half-mortal, as she figures out her witchy side but still is dealing with the drama that comes with being a teenager. There are currently 3 parts of this show available to stream on Netflix.

Next up is Warrior Nun. Warrior Nun follows the story of Ava, who finds herself waking up in a morgue. She has been resurrected and is now a part of the Order of the Cruciform Sword, a group of warrior nuns who fight demons. The series is based off the comic book character Warrior Nun Areala by Ben Dunn. Demon fighting nuns? Sign me up.

The Umbrella Academy! I absolutely loved season one and cannot wait to watch the newly released season 2. The Umbrella Academy is based off the comic book series of the same name, written by Gerard Way (where are my MCR fans at?) It follows a family of dysfinctional superheroes and you know the usual stuff, like an impending apocalypse.

I’ve always been a sucker for a good time travel story. In Netflix’s Dark, that is just what the audience gets. Set in the German town of Winden, children mysteriously start disappearing. Dark follows 4 families as they start to look for the children and reveals how they are all connected. I can’t wait to check this one out.

Have you seen any of these shows? Have any good recommendations? List them in the comments! Let us know what your favorites are.
