PS5 Games I Need to Come Out Now

The PS5 reveal has been out for a few weeks now and honestly, I have never been so excited for a gaming system before. It will more than likely cost a pretty penny so I am doing my best to start saving now. There are also rumors that the next gen games cost could increase to around $70. I say it’s worth it though because nothing beats a rough day at work, coming home, and escaping into an immersive RPG.

Disc based and digital versions of the PS5

With news of the next generation console out, numerous game developers have announced their latest projects that will premiere on the new system. I wanted to highlight a few that I cannot wait for.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

I’m a sucker for a female protagonist and this game just looks beautiful. Kena: Bridge of Spirits in an action-adventure game coming from Ember Lab and Unreal Engine. You play as Kena, a Spirit Guide, and collect small spirit companions known as the Rot. While we don’t have an exact release date yet, it is planned to come out sometime in late 2020. Check out the trailer below!

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a new horror game coming from the same crew that brought you The Evil Within. Launching in 2021, you will be using magic to take on evil spirits in a world where 99% of the population of Tokyo has vanished. While I am usually too much of a chicken to play survival horror games, this one looks too good to pass up. Check it out below!

As if you need any other reason to play this game except for the fact that you play as a cat. Sold! A lot of this game still appears to be a mystery except that it seems that humans have been replaced by robots. It seems that Stray will focus on exploration, puzzle solving, and action scenes. Coming in 2021, check out the trailer below.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

Releasing on November 17, 2020, Valhalla is the latest edition of the Assassin’s Creed series. You play as Eivor, can be male or female, a Viking raider. You and your crew are participants of the Viking invasion of England in 873 CE. I know that I easily lose a week of my life playing Assassin’s Creed games so I am so stoked for this one. Check it out below!

I know I’ve missed a lot of great games coming out, but these are the ones that I know I definitely plan on playing. What are you most excited for to come out on the PS5? Let us know in the comments! And as always, don’t forget to check out our amazing sponsors!
