Very few games can capture the pro gaming community’s attention, but ever since its release, Rainbow Six Siege has been at the front dominating the pro circuit. The game is an absolute thrill to play with a group of friends. For those who don’t know, Siege is a 5v5 tactical shooter where one team attempts to disarm a bomb while the other protects it within a certain time limit. It’s a great entry into a franchise who is as legendary as the man who created it.
Being such a popular game, Rainbow Six Siege has developed an incredibly toxic community. I’m talking about Team Killing. Jesus Christ, this is the worst draw back of this great shooter. One moment you’re sitting the reinforce a wall, the next you’re getting a bullet in your skull because some kid thought it would be funny. You know what happens after that? NOTHING. There little to no consequences for killing teammates except a warning. In a game such as this, if you’re down a team mate you might as well call it a day.

I’m honestly not sure how they think it’s fun, especially when they end up losing rank. The grind to even get the silver is ridiculous, and now I have to look over my shoulder to make sure I don’t get clapped by a dude in his mom’s basement for a chuckle? I don’t think so. The reasoning for team killing can vary from bring a female gamer to them not liking your gamer name. It’s ridiculous and it’s a problem Ubisoft needs to address.
Now, this isn’t the majority of your gameplay experience. Most of the time you will get a decent, dedicated team who will (for the most part) pull their weight. For new players, don’t be scared off by the fact there are stupid players out there, because there are those in every game you play. The reasoning for this rant is because it’s a problem the Ubisoft can easily fix. Simply turn off friendly fire. There’s simply no need for it in this game.
